Summary

A transformation programme is unlikely to succeed unless the organization ensures that its change capabilities are fit for purpose and fully aligned and that impacting factors specific to its environment are given full consideration and pro-active action taken to resolve any issues. In order to keep all of these critical components in-balance the TCM provides the structure but there is no substitute for sheer experience in the process of transformation. Where any level of uncertainty exists we recommend that a Transformation Capability Assessment (TCA) be conducted as a small upfront investment could prevent an expensive longer term failure.
