ERP Implementation

Major ERP Implementation projects have ceased to be in vogue for years as budgets continue to tighten. With IT no longer being considered to be a business differentiator, ERP Implementation projects are now considered to be high risk projects that are unlikely to gain Board sponsorship.

Many organisations have been left with a hangover from overly ambitious ERP implementations that have continually failed to deliver.  These projects have frequently been running for years and have swallowed up huge extended budgets. Having consumed such a major investment it would seemingly be political suicide to contemplate abandoning the Programme – unfortunately in many cases this would be the best course of action. With this scenario Transform-Associates would advocate initiating an independent assessment of the ERP Implementation to establish the likelihood of the Programme delivering its revised business benefits and the timeframes and budgets required for it to do so. Armed with a non-biased independent status and action plan the Programme Board can now make an informed decision on the future of the Programme.

The Transform Associates Network includes many experienced Programme Managers who have been involved in multiple successful ERP Implementation Programmes and have the skills and experience to manage or to take over an ERP Implementations that are failing, providing the business justification for doing so still stands up to challenge.
